Reception & patient communication

Many answers,before anyone calls.

The website is not the practice's medical system. It is the digital layer in front of it: it informs, gives orientation and leads to the right next step – so reception has more time for what is personal.

FAQ + clear information + downloads

Recurring questions can be answered before anyone gets in touch. This supports reception and can reduce avoidable follow-up requests – it does not replace a personal conversation.

FAQ

Good to knowbefore your first visit.

The most common questions – briefly answered. For your personal situation, we are happy to advise you in person.

Phone · [Phone number]

First appointment

How does the first appointment work?

It begins with a conversation about your concern and your questions, followed by a thorough examination, with digital imaging if needed. Finally, we discuss the findings and possible next steps.

What should I bring?

Your insurance card, a current list of medication and – if available – previous X-rays, findings or treatment and cost plans.

What does “Prepare your treatment” mean?

A short guided dialogue with five questions about occasion, priorities, topic, open questions and preferred timing. On this website it is a demo: no data is transmitted or stored.

Is “Ask ZAHNWERK” an AI?

No – on this website it is a demo with predefined, general answers. It makes no diagnosis and gives no treatment recommendation. In the finished version a suitable chat or telephony provider can be connected; appointments, reminders and patient data remain the job of the booking system and the practice management system.

Costs & insurance

Will I know the costs in advance?

Yes. Before any planned treatment you receive a transparent breakdown of the expected costs, so you can decide calmly.

Do you treat statutory and privately insured patients?

[To be completed by the practice: statutory or private practice, billing, reimbursement.]

Anxiety & comfort

I'm afraid of the dentist. What now?

Tell us – ideally when you book. We take time, explain every step in advance and agree on a stop signal. You set the pace.

Will the treatment hurt?

We discuss in advance which form of anaesthesia is suitable for you and make sure you are comfortable. How a treatment feels differs from person to person.

Treatments

Is an implant an option for me?

That can only be assessed after a thorough examination – bone volume, general health and oral hygiene all play a role.

How natural do aesthetic treatments look?

Our aim is a result that suits your face. Where possible, we plan changes digitally in advance so you can judge the result.

Aftercare & appointments

What happens after treatment?

You receive guidance for the first days and a follow-up appointment where it makes sense. We are available for questions.

What do I do with acute symptoms?

During opening hours, call the practice. Outside opening hours, “Emergency service” has the information on the regional dental emergency service.

General information. It does not replace individual dental advice.
